Should I drive an automatic or manual car?

If you're new or experienced to driving, the choice between types of gearbox comes down to your own preference as a driver.

The advantages of driving an automatic car include:

What's continuously variable transmission (CVT)?

A CVT car is a type of automatic car that works without needing any gears.

Instead it uses a system of belts and pulleys to create a range of gear ratios to change to different conditions. This means you won't even notice any gear change when accelerating. A CVT can offer improved fuel consumption.
